The UK Climate Resilience Showcase event (formerly festival) will be held at the University of Hull on the 12-13th September 2022. The aims of the Showcase are to:
- celebrate the work of the UK Climate Resilience Programme;
- showcase research outputs to stimulate discussion on climate risks and how we might manage them;
- illustrate the place-based nature of adaptation through examples from Hull, East Yorkshire and other regions;
- demonstrate the value of the programme’s research outputs through interaction with the programme’s target audiences nationally and regionally;
- stimulate use of specific outputs through well-facilitated sessions e.g. decision support tools, shared socio-economic pathway material, and discuss ideas for encouraging greater use.
The Showcase event is free to attend but places are limited and priority will be given to individuals that can demonstrate how they will disseminate the findings through their organisation/networks. If you are interested in attending and receiving the Showcase agenda please email: [email protected].
