Low Carbon workshop co-ordinator

             Part time contract (self employed)

We’re looking for a workshop co-ordinator for a short-term, freelance contract to help us programme a series of low carbon themed workshops/events which have been funded by the Postcode Lottery (some on Zoom, possibly some in person).

We’ll need you to create a programme of workshops/events on subjects such as Energy, Transport, community engagement etc, you would be responsible for sourcing speakers for the events, designing the full agenda for the events and communicating with local Zero Carbon groups in Yorkshire.

You’ll work closely with our communications lead and our board of directors to plan our workshop programme and to engage our current members and attract new people to our network. Also to help with reporting to the funders.

We need someone who has good knowledge/experience of Zero Carbon related issues and preferably some knowledge of local zero carbon groups in Yorkshire.  Experience of applying for further funding in this area so that we can continue the work is also desirable

Based from home with occasional meetings/events in Leeds, you’ll work up to or 4 days a month* for the next 6 months for which you will be paid £180 per 7.5 hours on a contracted/self-employed basis.

*We anticipate this will take approximately one day per week for the 6 months of the project, although this will be slightly flexible and decided on appointment.

Please send CV’s to [email protected] by 06/03/22 (please mark email subject as ‘Job application’)

We are hoping to shortlist and interview the week commencing 21st Feb.

Many thanks,
