On 30 April, Community Energy England and Community Energy South are holding a web conference, Traversing Turbulent Times. There will be discussions about how the community energy sector is responding to COVID-19 and you can hear from practitioners who are leading on innovative new projects, policy, organisational wellbeing, heat, transport and EVs, schools projects, climate emergencies, social impact and fuel poverty in a series of breakout rooms. Of particular interest to groups in Yorkshire may be a breakout session on regional hubs and funding in the afternoon. Creating a regional community energy hub is something Zero Carbon Yorkshire and Community Energy England are currently considering for the region and welcome expressions of interest for being involved in such a forum. Please email [email protected] if interested.
